What(Where) is the solution? I'm getting the same error when trying to assign category (other than no cat) to Event. I can update by directly modifying database. I greeped for the words "'ORDER BY ..... sDate`'" in the program's files to no avail.

SQL error. See 'logs/sql.log' ||1064 ||
need help whit an error.
Values string:
SQL execute error: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ORDER BY

I recibed this error ever time i save an event. So i need help, first instalation.
