Hi Pat,
Another Bowling Club using LuxCal, great wink
Suggestion 1:
I'm slightly confused, because when you delete a user, the events owned by the deleted user are still visible and accessible. Except "private" events, which are not visible anymore. Nevertheless I find the suggestion to have an option to "move" events from one owner to an other owner interesting. I will give this some further thought and maybe include this in a next LuxCal version.
Suggestion2:
I agree this would be useful and I actually started to work on a cleanup option several LuxCal versions ago, but never finished it. Maybe this is a good moment to add it to the next LuxCal version.

Luxcal has been used by our Bowls Club for our bookings since 2017 and it's great in helping us to manage our business which keeps us afloat.  It's also run by older age volunteers with little computer knowledge.

A couple of suggestions.

1.  One issue we have is deleting old users who may have left the club or no longer run the calendar.  If we delete them as users all the event entries associated with them are no longer viewable/accessible.  We sometimes need to do this for security reasons (disgruntled old members or departing staff).

As a solution I allocate them to the 'no access' group.    But is there a way of allocating their event entries to another user so that we can delete them as a user ?  Maybe a swap user tool i.e. to swap names in the 'editor' column in the 'events' table.

2.  Server space is sometimes critical so culling or deleting old '\attachments' files is a way of freeing up space.  When I edit the event and remove the attachment file, it doesn't seem to delete it from the \attachments folder.
Can we have say a cleanup tool to delete old '\attachments' files if they are no longer referenced in the 'events' table.
