Hi Roel,

I'd like that. smile

Day marking is really just a particular kind of event anyway...

I see your point Greig. There are other ways to add an event on a certain "full" day (e.g. go to week view or day view), but I agree clicking some free space in a day cell in month view is the most convenient.
I have considered in the past, rather than clicking in the day cell header or in de day cell body, to always open an Add Event window and offer the choice via two radio buttons "Event" and "Day Marking". Maybe I should reconsider this wink

(I probably should point out that I live in 'month' view)

You need to get out more! wink

Well, I must admit I don't understand the trouble as on mine there's always a little free space on the left on any hour where I can add an event ... whathever the display is.

Hi Roel,

I've gotten used to clicking on the title bar of a day to add a new event, and the new Day Marking hijacks that process.

Clicking on the title bar has been the only way to add an event to a day that already has several events, and the day frame/box is full, so there's no remaining "white space" in which to click to add the new event.

Is there another way to add an event to a day, or perhaps a setting I can change? (I tried to see if I can disable Day Marking but I couldn't find it).

Thanks,

Greig.
