Updated two major calendars I manage to 4.7.8
Well in fact, made a new install, updating is always squizzy but it's ok when importing the database...
Next step should be a coffee machine and.. oh sorry... 
Really nice that you could make my dreams become real ! The added fields and the way we can or not include them on the views or the prints ..

Hi Roel, thx for quick answer.
The deal would be to view at least one of the field from details or the optionnal fields (which we can name them as we want).
In week view would be fine and no pb with text length and viewing as my events generally exceed 2 hours.
In the end, optionnaly select one or more of these fields to be shown.
If you can try a patch, marvellous !
I would hardly need this before end of march if able .. giving you some "time", no hurry (well, not to much !)
I know you like challenging !

We have only title shown on the month/week/day view
Any chance to get description and/or details fields on week/day view?

Ok, with Roel help, we did find the key !
All config was ok but ... but the viewing options did not stick as the new category was not selected by default !
I couldn't see it on my computer as the options are here selected on "all"
And so .. there was an issue ...
So, if you create a new category, check that it is selected in the viewing options ...

Hi,
I create a new category and give all rights on it (see/add/edit etc) to an existing group.
As admin, I see and can change the events, no trouble.
As user of the group, I can no more see the event as soon as it is edited and changed to the new category.
See it again if changed back to a category that was before in the add/edit list of the group.
Tried I suppose eveything, made it again and again ... always the issue.
Any idea ?

I'm wondering what "type" field (tinyint) is used for ..
In my calendars, it's always at zero and if not used I coulds may be use for my own purpose.
I already add more (20) fields at the end of the columns and it works fine. But if I can use one more without adding ...
What is this field of the database supposed to do /include ?

The other choice for me is to connect another table linked to mycal_events.
But there I need some more page to complete infos.

Not always but 3 times on 4, I have an iCal file error on import.
That cancels the import and is quite annoying.
It's an Outlook 2010 export and it seems that "al details" selection in Outlook makes an error somewhere, not always the same place in the events ..
A "limited details" option seems to work but there I have a bad time selection, using UTC time ...
Mmhh, ideas ?

I have this :
DTSTART;TZID=Europe/Berlin:20190809T090000
DTEND;TZID=Europe/Berlin:20190809T110000
The event is starting at 0900 and finishing at 1100 as written in the ICS, so Luxcal ok.
Seems Outlook makes a correction somewhere but .. same location selected ... and if I change, then the calendar on my mobile becomes mad !
Btw, no chance for direct sync from Luxcal to the mobile ?

Hi,
When I import an ICS from LuxCal to Outlook, times are not correct and are one hour late
Suppose there's a link with summer time or so.
I tried and change stg in Outlook, made an incredible mess when syncing with my droïd so I came back.
But still annoyed, tried to make time change in LuxCal, no effect.
Any key anyone ?

Using Luxcal for two different uses, ok, fine, no bugs so nice to use, I forced my volunteers to use it !

But I also use my mobile cal that I can sync with my Outlook on my desktop.
Is there any way/app that could make direct sync between Luxcal and the mobile (Samsung S8) using maybe ics or any.
Must make a double syng now, quiye not efficient.
The final deal would be to use Luxcal interface and sync with the mobile and desktop Outlook...

Key was found with a line missing (include in comments) in toolbox.js after mod.
But Chrome seems to have its own "issue generator", popups activated and no printing window showing .. either Edge shows it ...
Oh magic can be IT world !!
Edit : the page parameters under Chrome didn't really made a difference.
Going into Chrome parameters general page makes the job ... Pffff

I did yes .. tried on localhost and on my webhosting ...
Something occurs, the window switches to white background and... nothing.
But, month view is ok with times (so fine !), could we expect the same mod for week views ?... )
I know it seems silly as we have times on the left, but my elder users have a short view ...

Any chance we can add some fields to Luxcal (easy in the DB but..) in order to have a more complete form when creating an event ?
Could be a fee, a number of visitors or anything else that could be sortable somewhere ...
