It works! Yes smile  This is close enough to the navigation I was hoping to achieve.  Thank you.

I still would like different colors for each month. Perhaps someone can point me to the appropriate file where I can include the necessary PHP coding.

I copied the Sample horse photos into the sidepanel folder and uploaded them to my web site. I also checked the Settings-> Views->"Show images in month view" box. No images were visible in the side panel.

Perhaps my problem is - I didn't put anything in the box labeled "Images" directly above the "Show images in month view" box. What would go there?

I assumed you wouldn't be interested in this, so I would need to modify one or two files. I'm only interested in the month view for this feature. Not knowing how complicated this might be, it would be fabulous if you could tackle this project.

We've all grown up with the typical paper calendar that flips over to a new page each month. Each month with a different picture and perhaps different theme. It's nice to 'turn the page' - different month, different season, different colors. Two new features to your wonderful calendar would go a long way to recapture that familiar feel.

Navigation: As I understand it, the date bar arrows move a full year (52 weeks?) or 4 weeks. Rather than +- 4 weeks, I would like an option for the 4 week arrows to move from month to month, like flipping a calendar. Of course the last few days of the preceding month would appear in the top week as would days of the next month in the bottom week(s) - still maintaining 6 weeks in each view. In this manner, the pages in the monthly view calendar would 'flip over' more like a traditional paper calendar.

Colors: Yes, a 12 x 2 table of colors (e.g. #D7FFD7) is needed. The bar color would be associated with the only full month shown on the page. The background color would of course vary with the month of the actual day.

Perhaps a "fixed month" view would only allow for 6 weeks visible at one time. But that's not necessary. The bar colors could just apply to the first complete month shown.

I am aware of only two different color schemes, month1 and month2, changed under UI Styling. I would like to be able to change the background color (BGWE1 for example) depending on the month, as well as the bar colors (BBHAR). I can not imagine this is an improvement you would want to provide for all users. I am comfortable tweaking the PHP coding but need a little help. What file/function is the best for redefining these color codes?
