Topic: Question concerning POST instead of GET

Hi Roel,

I thought the question was discussed a long time ago in this forum, but could not find it... If so, I can't remember the answer -  so I ask again wink

I would like to know what the main goal is for using POST instead of GET for all actions within the calendar.

I think it would be much easier if we could use the forward an back buttons of the browser. But this allways produces the reload form message of the browser.

Are there any security reasons for that?

Thanks for your time!

Stefan

Re: Question concerning POST instead of GET

Hi Stefan,
Yes correct, this was discussed before (maybe it was you, who brought this up wink).
The main reason for converting all GET requests to POST request is to NOT show all the URL parameters. These parameters don't look nice and they may encourage (malicious) users to start experimenting with these parameters.
There is no other reason.
