Topic: Two Issues

Issue #1:  I've been using LuxCal for several months with no issues, but late last week I realized I can no longer edit or add a category.  When I try to add or edit a category, I get an error message: '403 - Forbidden - Access to this resource on the server is denied!'  I'm wondering if I need to adjust permissions on one or more files, but I don't want to mess around with it until I get some feedback here.

After checking for and installing the most recent LuxCal update, I still get the above error message, but I'm also now dealing with...

Issue #2: The dropdown menu (next to the log out button) won't function at all in Chrome.  I click on it, and nothing happens.  It works in Microsoft Edge and Firefox, but I don't normally use those browsers, and would really rather use Chrome.

I just upgraded to 4.7.2M and I cannot see the popup menu from Public view or Admin view.  Works fine on IE and Edge.

Hi there,
I tried our test calendars with Chrome and all worked fine.
After upgrading to V4.7.2M, did you try refreshing the calendar page in Chrome. Just to be sure the cache is cleared.

Clearing cache helped fix the menu problem in Chrome.  Thanks Roel!

Clearing the cache also worked for me.

I still can't add or edit categories, though. sad

What browser are you using?
And what exactly happens, or does not happen, when you press the Add new category or Edit button on the Categories page?

I've tried several browsers on both Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.13.6 - Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and on three different networks (two at work and one at home).  So, I'm assuming it's a server-side issue, either with file permissions, or the PHP version, or whatever.

I can go into the new category screen, and enter the data (category name, date, etc), and when I press the add key, this is when I get the 403 error message.

If you'd like, I can pm you the url, username and password for the admin area and let you try?
